June 1st - below is the first "real" day of scenery. Not that I don't enjoy driving through the plains of Nebraska and Colorado, but there isnt much to see/photograph there. These pictures are in Leadville, CO and the surrounding vicinity... a good way to wake up in the morning.

June 1st - Next up is Mesa Verde National Park (South West Colorado). If you dont know already, Mesa Verde is where the Hopi Indian cliff dwellings are located. This was a very cool place and my only regret is not having more time to spend here. This first set of pictures is the view as you go into the park. To get to the cliff dwellings you must take a 15-20 mile road through the mountains/mesas.. its quite a view.

June 1st - This is the infamous US Highway 666. You may remember it from the filming of Natural Born Killers. Pretty much a ... road to no where. Some nice desert and mesa secenery though along the way. This highway passed through the eastern portion of the Navajo Indian Reservation.

June 5th - Well I left Las Vegas on the morning of the 5th. I didn't take ONE picture at this place... I didn't like Las Vegas at all. I grew up in a tourist trap (Orlando, FL) and what is Las Vegas ...? Just one big tourist trap. I was very happy to leave. So I figured I had to drive on Route 66 for a little while... pretty rustic old road, but still cool. Heres me getting my kicks on Route 66.

June 5th - This is a HUGE meteor crator about 30 miles east of Flagstaff, AZ. The pictures really do this place no justice... its about 1 mile accross and 850 feet deep. I'll let the pictures stand for themselves. These pictures look like I'm touring the planet Mars almost to me...

June 6th - So on the evening of the 5th I arrived in Phoeniz, AZ. I went to Phoenix to visit my friend Eva. On the 6th I was invited to a going away party for someone. Basically this guy Thorsten was going to school here in the US from Germany. Anyway, we goto this bar "Bandersnatch" and the gag at this place is getting beer thrown in your face... he didn't even know until the last second really. Check out the awesome action shots below.

June 7th - Last night in Phoenix we went to this Sushi Bar/Bar called "Saki's". I have to say it cool as hell... good music. I got pretty tore up.. anyway here are a couple shots from this event.

The End - I can think of no better way to end this page except with a sunset. I hope you had as much fun looking at these pictures as I had taking them. Once again thanks to all the great people I know out west in Vegas and Phoenix... without you guys this trip would have been much less fun. I hope to get out there again sometime to see the things and people I missed.
