I'm not always the best at writing but I'll do my best to give you a little biography.

Well hey there my name is Andrew Shinn. I was born September 7th 1978 in Casselberry, FL. I had a fairly uneventful childhood, I liked to take things apart and put them back together. I've been riding motorcycles since I was about 9 or 10 when I was given an old 1960's Honda SL70.

I'm a Unix Systems Administrator for MetLife Annuity Operations in West Des Moines, IA. People always ask me how a Florida boy could end up in Iowa... that's easy there's no jobs in Florida. I guess the most exciting job I had was NASCAR. I worked for NASCAR for about 1.5 years. I did get to go to some races and see how things are done, but I was just a computer nerd for them. It's funny because you say you've worked for NASCAR and they instantly presume you were changing tires or something.

I enjoy outdoor activities pretty much. I enjoy hiking, outdoor photography, and of course mechanics of any sort. I really don't play with computers too much outside of work... you get sick of it just like anything else. Most people are anti-domestic or anti-import when it comes to automobiles... however I enjoy them both. I think by now you've gathered I mostly enjoy Honda/Ford vehicles and performance though to be specific. Can't say why I love the Mustang so much... I know the Camaro/Fbody is technically superior, but I've never really liked their styling or quality control. Now don't get me wrong Ford knows how to build a crappy car, but seems less so than Chevrolet... like everything that is up for debate.
